Zdravičko. Vedel by mi prosim niekto poradiť ako jednoducho a zrozumitelne rozbehnúť usb modem huawei 1752 od Orange pod Linuxom (Ubuntu 10.04)? Skúšal som inštalovať balíky usb_modeswitch a modeswitch data z repozitárov, no ked som zapojil modem do usb a zadal do terminálu usb_modeswitch, modem mi aj tak nenašlo. Písal som kvôli tomuto problému na forum ubuntu.cz, tam mi povedali že vraj v repozitároch nieje najnovšia verzia usb-modeswitch a poradili mi že mám postupovať podľa tejto stránky, kde je vraj najnovšia verzia: www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/ - lenže podľa tohto návodu to žial ako začiatočník (mám ubuntu cca 3týždne) nedokážem skompilovať balík usb-modeswitch-1.1.3.tar.bz2 (cez terminál zatial dokážem tak max. ako root vypnúť alebo reštartovať pc) - skúšal som pozrieť aj nejajké návody na kompilovanie programov zo zdrojových kódov ale akosi sa mi to nedarilo, neboli dosť podrobné pre človeka ktorý nieje ešte kamarát s terminálom ...Budem Vám vďačný za každú radu, prípadne ak tu niekto má skúsenosti s týmto modemom - podotýkam len, že pod windowsom funguje tak ako má.

neviem ci ti to pomoze, lebo ten modem som v zivote nemal, ale pisal som o tom jednu spravicky ako sa da rychlo taky modem spojazdnit.

Vďaka...Akurat to skušam, miesto e1550 som tam dal: gksu gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/15-huawei-e1752.rules ale stale svieti zeleno, sviňa jedna...ako hodim do terminalu lsusb -v vypiše toto:

Nebudem rozpisovať, ale neskôr preložím do svk a dám do databázy. Malo by fungovať. Radšej daj vedieť pre istotu:

Ten navod som už skúšal. Ked som zadal do terminalu usb_switch sice tusim svietil modem modro, ale pripojit sa mi sním nepodarilo ..A gnome PPP mi modem nenašlo.Inak na Ubuntackom fore mi vraveli zevraj to je nejaká stará verzia toho usb_switchu, ale niekde som čítal že pod starším Ubuntu9.dačo to s ním fungovalo. Dávali mi tam link odkial sa dá stiahnuť najnovšia verzia ktorá nieje zatial v repozitároch usb_switch, lenže tú nedokážem inštalovať - pretože ju treba kompilovať zo zdrojového kódu(teda aspoň myslím, má to príponu tar.bz2): www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/

Tak modem už ide. Nakoniec som objavil sakis3G - stačilo len skript hodiť do terminalu a predtim inštalovať usb-modeswitch z repozitarov.

Neni problem, nech sa pači - tu je:
Takze - stiahni cez centrum software Ubuntu baliky usb-modeswitch a usb-modeswitch-data. Potom v Gedite vytvoris subor usb-modeswitch.conf a vlozis donho toto:

Potom ten subor uloz do /etc alebo ho tam nakopiruj (cez terminal sudo cp cesta k suboru /etc). Do terminalu zadaj usb_modeswitch. Ale este predtim musis v network manageri dat upravit spojenia - mobilny broadband a tam nastavis - Orange - a pripadne aj PIN ak treba (ak mas mobilny internet od tohto operatora). Stiahnes z tejto stranky: www.sakis3g.org/ sakis3G skript - podla architektury. Spustis terminal, do terminalu zadas usb_modeswitch. V pripade ze sa nezadari a v network manageri sa neobjavi moznost vybrat mobile broadband - Orange a dať možnosť pripojiť, stači sakis3G hodiť do terminalu. Potom by sa už mala objaviť v network manageri tato možnosť. Stači už len pripojiť cez networkmanager a všetko by malo fungovať.
